Brebeuf Social Justice Symposium

 The Brebeuf Social Justice Club meets every Thursday after school in the Jesuit Commemorative Library. These "men for others" seek to make the world a fairer place based on the teachings of Christ.

Some of the activities of the group include:

- Planning the annual Brebeuf Social Justice Symposium;

- Sponsoring a child in the developing world through Chalice (Christian Child Care Intl;

- Helping to raise money for the Presentation Brothers' school in Yendi, Ghana;

- Writing letters on behalf of AIDS patients in Africa and other social justice issues;

- Projects that the students initiate;

- Planning and implementing a Social Justice Week to educate the student body about the need for social justice and ways they can get involved.
